Follow this proicedure to set the proper setting. (Sorry No screen shots yet) Open Microsoft Outlook. Click the Tools menu and select E-Mail Accounts. In the new window that comes up, click on the choice "View or change existing e-mail accounts" Then choose your email account In the next window, select the Button in the lower right that says "More Setttings..." In the new window click on the tab at the top for "outgoing server" In this window you will then see "My Server requires authenication". The box in front of it must be checked! Then click on the OK button and then finish, which will close the window. At this point you can send email from anywhere. You may have to close the program and restart the program for the settings to take effect. |
